Recognized as Top Graduate at Leadership Institute’s Youth Leadership School

This past weekend, I returned from Nashville, Tennessee after attending my first ever Youth Leadership School through the Leadership Institute, an organization that has trained conservative leaders in campaigns, strategy, and public affairs since 1979. It was an incredible experience being surrounded by over 70 bright, and quite very driven young men and women from across the country, all passionate about making a difference in their communities. I made friendships and connections that I know will last for many years to come.

I’m also deeply honored to share that I was recognized as one of the program’s Top Graduates for the weekend and was selected as one of only five participants to receive the Yerger Scholar distinction, recognizing leadership and dedication throughout the weekend. As a bonus, I also won a copy of Economics in One Lesson by Henry Hazlitt during Q&A (MUST READ!).

I’m grateful to the Leadership Institute for this opportunity and highly encourage other young people to get involved, study the issues shaping our country, and invest in developing their leadership skills.

Certainly made me even more excited for what’s ahead as I run for Vermont State Senate!
